The PADI Open Water Course introduces you to breathing underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, you’ll make at least five pool dives and four dives at local dive sites under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.

What do I need to start?
You need to be at least 13 years old to participate in PADI eLearning, due to international internet laws. If you’re younger than this, you can still learn to dive – have your parent or legal guardian contact us here at the Dive Centre to enrol you on the Standard PADI Open Water Diver Course.

What will I do?

While you're working through the PADI Open Water Diver Course Online or after you complete all the segments, you can print your eLearning Record and bring it in to DiveWise at the start of the next and most exciting phase of your training, the skills development dives in the pool.  Your underwater adventure begins.  Lets go diving!

In this portion of the course you’ll learn and master dive skills from one of our highly-trained PADI Instructors during confined and open water dives. The skills you learn during these dives will prepare you to explore a whole new world. Start today on a lifetime of adventure and fun!
